Job summary

Expect A Star is seeking a Casual Relief Teacher (CRT) for Primary Schools across Victoria. Immediate start for Term 4 2026, full-time as an CRT with travel/accommodation allowance potentially available.

We work closely with the Department of Education, independent and Catholic schools to support emergency CRT and full-time needs. You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms, supervise students, and collaborate with support staff to record progress and incidents in line with school

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience.
• Valid VIT registration.
• Up to date child safety training.
• 2x professional referees.
• Availability through 4 2026, and sometimes at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lesson plans and activities, while maintaining a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and uphold school expectations and policies.
• Supervise students during transitions and designated duties as required, including playground supervision.
• Collaborate professionally with support staff to accurately record and communicate incidents, student progress and relevant feedback in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
