Job summary

Matrix Education in Sydney CBD is seeking a Primary Content Writer to join our content team. You will write lesson content and assessments for Years 3 to 6 across English and Mathematics, and for Selective and Opportunity Class preparation courses, in a full-time, on-site role.

You’ll work with a collaborative team of writers and editors, use our LMS, and be expected to teach at least two classes a week to stay connected with our students and delivery model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or current study in Education or Teaching preferred.
• Teaching or tutoring experience with primary school students.
• Strong knowledge of NSW syllabus and assessment methods.
• Familiarity with Selective School/OC preparation is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written English.

Responsibilities

• Content production for primary courses and assessments.
• Create Year 3–6 content for English and Mathematics.
• Develop content aligned to NSW NESA outcomes.
• Work within the LMS to build and manage content.
• Meet resource deadlines and work autonomously.
• Edit and quality-check existing resources.
• Experiment with AI tools to improve workflows.
• Collaborate with teachers and Learning Leads for feedback.
• Teach at least two classes per week to stay connected with students.
