Job summary

Ilim College seeks a passionate Primary Classroom Teacher for Glenroy Primary Campus, commencing 27 January 2027. You will deliver engaging lessons and foster an inclusive learning environment aligned with the College’s Islamic ethos.

You will hold VIT registration, know the Victorian Curriculum, and collaborate with colleagues to support students’ academic, social, emotional and spiritual development.

Qualifications

• Holds current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and effective primary teaching practices.
• Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences for diverse learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to supporting the Islamic ethos and educational philosophy of Ilim College.
• Collaborative approach to teaching and ongoing professional development.
