Job summary

Shell Energy Australia is seeking a Pricing Operations Business Analyst to join our Pricing team. The role focuses on supporting pricing activities, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating with internal stakeholders across the business.

You will help manage pricing data, participate in pricing events, and assist with testing and process improvements to ensure efficient and compliant pricing operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and execution of pricing and product initiatives that align with organisational goals and business objectives.
• Maintain product and pricing information within internal systems, including plans, promotions, product mapping and customer offers.
• Work closely with operations and customer teams to optimise pricing processes, system routines and automation activities.
• Review, investigate and resolve pricing and product issues while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage ad hoc pricing corrections, compliance-related fixes and operational pricing updates.
• Contribute to major pricing events, including regulated and market price changes and new product launches.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect identification, resolution validation and implementation activities.
• Perform routine data cleansing, validation and quality assurance across pricing, product and customer datasets.
