Job summary

Red Energy, a leading Australian renewable energy provider, seeks a Market Analyst to join the Pricing and Customer Analysis team in Melbourne. The role focuses on translating market query data into actionable pricing realities, building scalable analytics, and delivering practical pricing and product solutions.

The successful candidate will extract and analyse market data, maintain business rules, and develop tools to drive customer loyalty and business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using SQL-based transformation tools to build and manage data pipelines.
• Databricks experience is beneficial.
• Strong background in commercial data analytics, preferably in retail energy or similar data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Extract insights from market and consumer data using SQL and analytics tools.
• Translate business requirements into usable pricing and product solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage and scale data pipelines for core retail metrics.
• Prioritise high-impact analytical projects autonomously and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Act as trusted advisor to internal stakeholders to guide decision-making and enhance customer experience.
• Continuously optimise pricing methodologies, reporting frameworks, and business logic.
