Fishing Cre in Harwood NSW is seeking a Pressure Welder for full-time work on ships, ferries, barges and other vessels. Responsibilities include cutting, shaping, joining and repairing metal components of iron and steel structures, boilers and pipes, and refurbishing existing vessels or constructing new ones.

Required are a relevant trade certificate and at least two years of experience in vessel construction/repair, with familiarity in aluminum and steel vessels, ability to work in a team, and

Qualifications

• Trade certificate relevant to welding is required.
• Minimum two years full-time vessel construction/repair experience.
• Experience on aluminum and steel vessels.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Confined spaces certificate preferred.
• Good WHS knowledge is expected.

Responsabilités

• Cut, shape, join & repair metal components of iron & steel structures.
• Weld components in flat/vertical/overhead positions.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings & specifications.
• Finish products by cleaning/polishing/filing and cleaning welds.
