Job summary

Direct Couriers Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced driver to join the Direct Sensitive premium service. You will move high-value freight with strict chain of custody and represent the brand in executive environments.

The role requires a current heavy vehicle licence, Australian work rights, and 2–3 years of professional driving experience in premium freight. You will work in a trusted logistics team with uniform and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current heavy vehicle licence with no major infringements in the past 3 years.
• Must be able to pass a National Police Check.
• Full right to work in Australia.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience, ideally in premium or B2B freight.
• Immaculate personal presentation and discretion in handling high-value cargo.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled and on-demand deliveries across the Melbourne metro area.
• Handle high-value, fragile and sensitive freight with strict chain of custody.
• Represent Direct Couriers in high-security and executive environments.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional on-site interactions.
• Provide accurate ETAs and delivery updates, escalate delivery or security concerns as needed.
• Use proof of delivery apps and electronic consignment systems accurately.
• Maintain secure load restraint and vehicle presentation along assigned routes.
