GREWAL PLASTERING PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Plasterer (Wall and Ceiling) to join our team in Chambers Flat. The role involves installing plasterboard, finishing textures, and applying decorative plasterwork on residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of plastering experience, a solid ability to read drawings, and a strong commitment to quality finishes. WHS safety practices are essential for a safe, productive site environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ plasterer experience in residential or commercial construction.
• Skilled in plasterboard installation, finishing techniques and decorative plasterwork.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of WHS safety standards and safe worksite practices.

Responsibilities

• Determine plasterboard layout, and install insulation and vapour barriers.
• Measure, mark and cut plasterboard, lifting and positioning plasterboard, and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens.
• Fixing plaster and paper cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings.
• Covering joints and screw fixings with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper.
• Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render to structures using trowels, and leveling and smoothing coats to uniform thickness.
