Job summary

Bankstown Sports Club in Sydney is seeking a Premium Guest Assistant Manager to lead a high-performing team delivering VIP service and memorable guest experiences.

You will partner with Gaming, Operations, Marketing and Customer Service to execute premium service strategies, host events, and develop the Premium Guest Host team while maintaining a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Premium Guest Relations, VIP Services, Hospitality or Gaming.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• RSA/RCG/First Aid qualifications (or ability to obtain).

About the Role

As our Premium Guest Assistant Manager, you'll support the Premium Guest Manager in leading a high-performing team dedicated to delivering outstanding VIP service and member experiences.

This highly visible, customer-facing role combines leadership, relationship management and operational excellence. You'll build strong connections with Premium Guests, drive retention and loyalty initiatives, identify opportunities to grow patron engagement, and ensure every guest interaction exceeds expectations.

Working closely with Gaming, Operations, Marketing and Customer Service teams, you'll help execute premium service strategies, host VIP events and functions, and support the ongoing development of our Premium Guest Host team.

About You

You're a passionate hospitality, gaming or customer experience professional who genuinely enjoys building relationships and creating memorable guest experiences.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience in Premium Guest Relations, VIP Services, Hospitality or Gaming
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong customer-first mindset with a passion for service excellence
• The ability to influence, engage and build trust with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of loyalty programs, member engagement and retention strategies
• Current RSA, RCG and First Aid qualifications (or the ability to obtain)
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
