Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Engineering/Precinct Manager to oversee two Premium Grade office towers in the CBD. You will lead engineering services, manage capital works, and drive energy efficiency and NABERS outcomes.

Reporting to the General Manager and supported by two facilities professionals, you will own the precinct's strategic and operational performance, foster stakeholder relationships, and mentor the team to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Engineering or Facilities Management within A Grade or Premium Grade assets.
• Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical building services.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering and building services operations across the precinct.
• Manage critical building systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, lifts, BMS and security systems.
• Develop and deliver CAPEX plans, asset lifecycle strategies and building improvement initiatives.
• Manage operating budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
• Oversee capital works projects and contractor performance.
• Drive compliance, risk management and workplace safety outcomes.
• Improve asset performance through energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead NABERS performance management, reporting and continuous improvement programs.
• Mentor and develop a facilities team while building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
