Job summary

Flowery Field Primary School is seeking a Premises Manager to oversee maintenance, health and safety, and security of the building and grounds, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for pupils and staff and compliance with current legislation.

You will undertake routine maintenance, painting and decorating, DIY and general repairs, with some later working for meetings and events. A full driving licence is essential and after-hours duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a premises/site manager or in the building trade.
• Good ICT, literacy and numeracy abilities.
• Ability to relate well to children and staff in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee premises maintenance and health and safety compliance.
• Ensure cleanliness, security and welcoming environment for pupils and visitors.
• Carry out routine maintenance including painting and decorating and general repairs.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies and attend meetings or events when needed.
• Hold a full driving licence and respond to urgent issues outside school hours.
