Talk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Preconstruction Design Manager to tender on a range of Industrial and Distribution projects, including multi‑million pound schemes. Northampton-based role with strong progression in a fast-growing contractor, offering a competitive package, car allowance, healthcare and pension.

Travel nationwide. Requirements include knowledge of the Building Sector, prior design coordination roles (D&B), and Main Contractor experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Building Sector.
• Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager.
• Experience on Industrial, Distribution, Logistics or Warehouse projects.
• Experience on other general build construction projects with strong preconstruction / tender experience.
• Previous Main Contractor employment essential
• High level of communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).

This employer is looking to strengthen their team further with the appointment of a Preconstruction Design Manager to tenderon a range of Industrial and Distribution projects, which is one of the busiest and fastest growing sectors.

They deliver Multi-million pound projects for some of the biggest client namesin the industry. Project values fro £20m - £100m. This employer is a leader in their field.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Building Sector.
• Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager.
• Ideally previous experience on Industrial, Distribution, Logistics or Warehouse projects ideally.
• Will also consider candiates that have worked on other general build construction projects, if they have strong preconstruction / tender experience.
• Previous Main Contractor employment essential
• High level of communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
• Flexibility to travel / visit sites nationwide.

REMUNERATION:

• £60,000 - £70,000 Basic (Dependant on experience)
