Actiwork in Singleton, NSW is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator Welder for a full-time role based in Singleton 2330. You will fabricate sheet metal components and weld to precise specifications, contributing to our industrial manufacturing operations and product quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator Welder
• Competency in MIG, TIG and stick welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience operating sheet metal equipment such as shears, press brakes and hydraulic equipment
• Health and safety awareness in manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sheet metal components using cutting and forming techniques
• Operate welding equipment to join metal components with precision and consistency
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
• Measure and mark materials according to job requirements using appropriate measuring tools
• Perform quality checks on fabricated and welded components to meet industry standards
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition and report any maintenance issues
• Follow all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
• Document work completed and maintain accurate records of fabrication activities
