Express Employment Professionals – Sydney NSW is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our client’s team in Greater Western Sydney. This full-time, permanent role offers an immediate start and ongoing hours with competitive hourly rates.

Ideal for a reliable tradesperson committed to quality workmanship. You will perform MIG welding on steel components, fabricate and assemble to drawings, read fabrication drawings, and maintain a safe, efficient workshop environment with attention

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder / Fabricator.
• Strong MIG welding and steel experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable work history in welding, fabrication or a similar industry.
• Strong work ethic and dependable, punctual attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components to the required specifications
• Fabricate and assemble steel products in accordance with technical drawings
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements
• Operate workshop machinery, power tools and hand tools safely
• Measure, cut, fit and prepare materials for fabrication
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and high standards of workmanship
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
