Job summary

Unknown is seeking an Electronics Assembler (PCB Process worker) to join their manufacturing team in the Blacktown / Norwest area. The role focuses on manual loading of components onto PCBs and on-line assembly, with duties spanning soldering, wiring, inspection, and rework.

Applicants should have strong English communication, precise hand soldering skills, and familiarity with hand tools, cables, and precision components. Immediate start is available.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• High-quality hand soldering skills
• Basic knowledge of electronic components
• Previous experience in manual Surface Mount (SMT) and/or Through Hole loading (THT) of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Previous experience crimping cables and stripping wires
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks whilst maintaining work to a high standard
• Excellent Fine Motor Skills (Ability to handle and assemble precision components)
• Previous experience and competency using hand tools
• SMT Inspection and rework experience advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering surface mount and through-hole components onto printed circuit boards
• Basic final assembly of electronic equipment using power tools and/or hand tools
• Manual cable crimping and stripping wires
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Inspection of loaded circuit boards
• Reworking circuit boards using de-soldering tools
• General electronic assembly work on production line
