Maskill is seeking an experienced Machinist in Toowoomba to machine, repair, and refurbish heavy-duty undercarriage components for mining clients. Work in a modern workshop with opportunities to handle a range of products, machinery and tooling.

Qualifications

• A relevant machining or fitter machinist trade qualification.
• At least five years’ experience working as a machinist.
• Proven skills in manual and/or CNC turning and milling.
• Confidence interpreting engineering drawings.
• A strong commitment to precision, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and/or manual lathes and milling machines.
• Complete turning and milling work to drawing specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and check dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain consistent quality across your work.
• Follow safe work procedures and keep your work area organised.
