Job summary

WEIER GROUP PTY LTD is seeking a skilled GPS Excavator Operator to join our team in the North Brisbane to Sunshine Coast region of Queensland. You will operate GPS-guided excavation equipment to tight tolerances on construction and earthmoving projects, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Key requirements include a valid Heavy Equipment Operator License (or equivalent) and proven experience with GPS-guided machinery.

Qualifications

• Current Heavy Equipment Operator License (or equivalent) required.
• Proven experience operating GPS-guided excavation equipment on construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and grading specifications.
• Strong commitment to health and safety on construction sites.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate GPS-guided excavators with precision to perform earthmoving tasks according to project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure safe working order before commencing work.
• Communicate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to meet project requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
