Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage is seeking an experienced urban planner to become the SCL4 Planning Manager, Metro Central - Precincts. The role leads a growing team implementing improvement schemes under Precincts WA across Perth, delivering vibrant, well-connected precincts near jobs and transport.

This permanent full-time position requires a degree in Urban and Regional Studies, extensive planning experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Urban and Regional Studies, Planning or Development or an approved equivalent relevant to planning.
• Strong knowledge of WA planning legislation, policy and approval processes.
• Experience in land use planning and leading planning proposals.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team delivering statutory and strategic planning work, and improve planning frameworks.
• Oversee assessment and delivery of complex planning proposals and development applications.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve practical planning outcomes.
