Job summary

Transport for NSW invites an experienced urban planner to join the Urban Planning and Place team as Manager Precinct and Place on a fixed-term basis (up to 10 months). You will lead place making, land use and precinct planning for Sydney Metro precincts, coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with government priorities.

You are tertiary qualified in urban planning, with extensive strategic planning experience and a track record in major

• Tertiary qualification in urban planning or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in strategic planning for major infrastructure or precinct planning.
• Advanced communication and technical skills to influence and deliver timely project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead urban and precinct planning activities for metro station precincts and adjacent areas.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with government priorities.
• Provide subject matter expertise to influence place making and land use throughout project phases.
