Job summary

Situated in Exmouth, this role oversees the 24/7 operation, maintenance and repair of the VLF power plant and associated systems. You will build, lead and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring safe, reliable power generation for this nationally significant capability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the power production team, fostering a strong safety culture and developing team capability.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of the VLF power plant and associated equipment.
• Ensure reliable, safe 24/7 power and utility service delivery to the site.
• Manage planning, scheduling, testing and performance of power generation systems.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrotechnology – Electrician, Diploma in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, or equivalent.
• Diploma in Leadership & Management, or equivalent (preferred)
• Current C-Class driver’s licence.
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading teams, including work scheduling, coaching and operational execution.
• Demonstrated experience with maintenance planning, scheduling and asset management practices.
