Job summary

UCentric is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Architect (Cloud Migration/Modernisation) to lead strategic cloud transformations for Public Sector customers. You’ll operate at the crossroads of architecture, consulting and pre-sales, translating business goals into practical, secure cloud solutions with measurable outcomes.

You’ll engage with C-level stakeholders, shape enterprise cloud strategies and drive migration, modernisation and AI-enabled initiatives, including Agentic AI and Generative AI,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical architecture, solution design or consulting.
• Experience delivering cloud-based solutions on AWS or similar.
• Proven leadership across large, complex programs.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with public sector federal government, defence, or security.
• Strong communication translating tech into business value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead technical solution designs aligned to customer outcomes.
• Act as trusted advisor on cloud migration, modernisation, and emerging tech.
• Partner with account, sales and delivery teams on proposal development.
• Engage with C-level and senior stakeholders to influence initiatives.
• Define technology strategies for cloud adoption and transformation.
• Translate customer challenges into scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Explore Agentic AI and Generative AI use cases with customers.
• Develop proofs-of-concept to demonstrate new AI capabilities.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and security practices.
• Mentor colleagues and share best practices across the practice.
