Job summary

Harrigan Motor Group in the Illawarra region is seeking a vehicle sales trainee to learn the fundamentals of car sales and begin a career in automotive commerce. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will learn, sell preowned vehicles and build relationships with customers across our multiple branches.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, work with a supportive management team and have access to a structured training pathway with clear promotion opportunities, while enjoying a competitive remuneration

Qualifications

• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; basic computer literacy.
• Rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the automotive industry and dealer management system.
• Sell preowned vehicles.
• Gain business from new and existing customers.
• Understand customer objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes.
• Provide top level customer service.
• Maintain excellent knowledge about all vehicles and products as well as the presentation of vehicles.
