Job summary

BTF Pty Ltd is launching a new venue at Peregian Beach, Sunshine Coast. We seek an experienced Venue Manager to lead from the start, shape operations, recruit the team, and craft a sales/marketing plan. You will drive service excellence, manage costs, and deliver strong performance while building a loyal customer base.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years previous Venue Management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify commercial opportunities and design multiple paths to achieve them.
• Excellent knowledge of the food and beverage scene in Qld and particularly the Sunshine Coast.
• Ability to inspire and lead, bringing out the best in team members.

Responsibilities

• Join pre-opening and work with founders to open doors, implement procedures and systems, recruit the team and design a sales/marketing strategy.
• Develop and motivate the team to create a culture that delivers an exceptional customer experience and builds a growing base of regulars.
• Be the face of the business with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Drive top-line sales by maintaining service standards and executing trade-building activities while developing events and functions revenue.
• Deliver financial targets through disciplined margin, labour, and cost control.
