Job summary

Family Doctor Pty Ltd in Victoria is seeking a proactive Practice Nurse to join our supportive General Practice team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, immunisations, wound care, and clinical assistance while educating patients.

You must be registered with AHPRA, have experience in busy GP settings, and be capable of autonomous, collaborative work with strong communication. Familiarity with Best Practice software and Cubiko/HotDoc/Automed is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Experience in busy General Practice and/or primary health
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments (advantage)
• Ability to perform immunisations, wound care, and other GP nurse duties
• Strong communication skills and patient education
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care and support in a General Practice
• Administer immunisations and assist in procedures
• Wound dressing and basic wound care
• Stock ordering and inventory management
• Deliver patient education and health promotion
• Maintain recall and reminder systems
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality care
