Job summary
Ramahyuck District Aboriginal Corporation in Morwell, VIC, seeks a Registered Nurse for a maternity leave role to support primary health care delivery. You will perform Venepuncture, ECGs, immunisations and contribute to chronic disease management and health promotion within the Aboriginal community.
You will collaborate with GPs, allied health, and services Australia, while ensuring clinical standards and patient care excellence are upheld. Victorian Driver’s license and WWCC are required.
Qualifications
- Must hold RN Division 1 registration with AHPRA.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Criminal History Check satisfactory.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License.
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing services to clinics (venepuncture, ECG and Holter monitor).
- Understand and implement Victorian Immunisation Schedule and National Immunisation Program eligibility.
- Support GPs in preventative health and disease management, including health assessments.
- Conduct health screenings (cancer, metabolic health, general observations).
- Maintain recall/reminder systems and link services with patients and agencies.
