Hargreaves St Medical Practice is seeking skilled nurses to support health promotion, screening and education for patients from infants to seniors. The role covers assessment, care, vaccinations, and patient follow-up in a busy general practice.

Based in Bendigo, Victoria, the position offers pay from AUD 35 to AUD 42 per hour and opportunities to collaborate with a supportive team of doctors and administration staff to improve community health outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Providing advice, consultations and information about a range of health conditions and minor ailments
• Blood pressure management, weight control, diabetes and smoking cessation advice
• Administering infant injections and vaccinations
• Travel immunisations and travel health care advice
• Performing minor procedures, such as wound dressings, plastering, ear syringing and eye washouts
• Collection of pathology samples and other specimens
• Provision of first aid and emergency treatment
• Restocking and maintenance of clinical areas and consulting rooms
• Updating and amending electronic clinical records
• Assisting with recalls and reminders
• Liaising with other team members including doctors, other practice nurses, reception and administration staff

Nurses at Hargreaves St Medical Practice play a pivotal role in health promotion, healthmaintenance and the prevention of illness through evidence-based information and education forindividuals, groups and communities. Our practice nurses provide assessment, screening,treatment, care and education to patients from infants to seniors.

Pay rate: From $35 to $42 per hour.
