GP@ Anderson is a well-established, patient-focused medical practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a friendly and professional environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Practice Manager to lead our dynamic team and support the ongoing growth of our practice.

About the Role

As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflows, and delivering an excellent patient and staff experience. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to maintain a high standard of service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the practice
  • Lead and supervise administrative and support staff
  • Oversee patient bookings, billing, and Medicare claims
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., RACGP, AGPAL)
  • Manage HR functions including rostering, recruitment, and performance management
  • Coordinate financial reporting, budgeting, and supplier management
  • Implement and maintain practice policies and procedures
  • Liaise with doctors, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager or similar healthcare management role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in medical practice software (e.g., Best Practice, Medical Director, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of Medicare, private billing, and healthcare compliance
  • Knowledge of HR and financial processes
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Practice Management in GP clinic or equivalent

You will be required to answer questions related to your experience in preparing work rosters, right to work in Australia, HR experience, practice management experience, recruitment experience, administration experience, medical practice management software experience, and current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment.
