Are you an experienced veterinary nurse ready to take the next step into a leadership role?
A well-established veterinary practice in inner Brisbane is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic practice manager to lead its team and play an important role in the continued growth of the clinic.
This is a hands-on leadership position that combines clinical nursing experience with team management and operational responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the way the practice operates, support your colleagues and help deliver a positive experience for pets and their owners.
The practice has a strong focus on community, teamwork and quality patient care. The clinic values a supportive, collaborative workplace where team members enjoy working together and celebrating their successes.
As practice manager, you will mentor and support the nursing and support staff, oversee day-to-day operations and work closely with the veterinary team to improve clinic workflows and the overall client experience. Your responsibilities will include staff rostering, inventory management, client communications and maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
The ideal applicant will hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and have at least three to five years of nursing experience. Previous leadership or management experience would be an advantage, but a positive attitude, initiative and a genuine interest in leading and developing others are equally important. Strong communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment, will be essential.
The position offers a competitive salary based on experience, opportunities for professional development and the flexibility to have input into your own roster. You will also have the chance to contribute ideas, influence the practice’s direction and help shape its future.
Located in inner Brisbane, the practice offers the opportunity to enjoy everything that comes with living and working close to the city. With its riverside walking paths, lively café and dining scene, and convenient access to entertainment and recreational activities, this area is an appealing place to combine career development with an enjoyable lifestyle.
If you are an experienced veterinary nurse who enjoys working with people, building strong client relationships and helping a team perform at its best, this could be a rewarding next step in your career.
