Job summary

SLR Consulting invites a Practice Leader for Soils, Geochemistry, Toxicology & Risk to lead 40+ consultants across Asia Pacific. You will mentor future leaders, steer high-impact projects, and scale the practice while expanding client relationships and market share.

This is a highly visible, strategic leadership role with regional reach, responsible for financial KPIs, knowledge sharing, and cross-practice collaboration.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering or similar, with relevant field experience.
• Experience managing projects and teams across geographies.
• Operations leadership within technical consulting or professional services.
• Developing practice-level business plans and scaling teams in start-up or growth phases.
• Proven people management to engage, develop and retain staff across regions.
• Strong business development, client management and multi-disciplinary bid execution.
• Excellent ability to understand client needs and drive outcomes.
• Strong communication of vision and strategic intent across teams.

• Leading the Practice Area with authenticity, purpose and vigour.
• Driving growth in line with market trends and opportunities, and managing resourcing.
• Consistently achieving KPIs across financial metrics and backlog targets.
