Job Q in Townsville, QLD, is seeking a Practice Advisor - Therapeutic to lead specialist therapeutic practice across programs, support safe, high-quality service delivery, and strengthen workforce capability. The role operates within governance and safeguarding frameworks, partnering with operational teams to embed evidence-informed approaches.

You will work to promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and person-centred care while driving continuous improvement and learning across services.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Human Services, Behaviour Support or related discipline.
• Experience providing specialist therapeutic advice within complex human services environments.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed, person-centred and rights-based practice.
• Professional registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and consultation on complex therapeutic and behavioural support matters.
• Coach and develop workforce capability across diverse service areas.
• Support implementation of therapeutic frameworks, models of care and best-practice resources.
