Job summary

Eaton is a leading power management company delivering critical infrastructure projects globally. We are seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate software and electrical project delivery, support system design and documentation, and develop testing and commissioning plans across data centres, utilities, and industrial environments.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical project engineering, SCADA or controls project experience, and strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in project engineering within the electrical industry.
• Experience delivering software, controls, SCADA, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, fault finding, and maintenance of power monitoring or control systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols, power systems, and control technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational capability.
• A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software engineering and project delivery activities.
• Support electrical and software system design, documentation, and technical submissions.
• Develop testing, commissioning, and quality assurance plans.
• Lead or support factory testing and site commissioning activities.
• Apply knowledge of power monitoring, control systems, networking, and SCADA environments.
• Work closely with customers, engineers, service teams, and project managers.
• Support project planning, reporting, and execution.
