Job summary
Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a Specialist Engineer to lead power system analysis and modelling, shaping the future of Australia's electricity system. You will guide complex studies, develop innovative methodologies for renewable energy integration, and influence strategic network and investment decisions across Victoria.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver clear, evidence-based technical reports.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Deep expertise in power system design, operation and analysis.
- Experience with renewable energy integration and power system dynamics.
- Ability to lead complex technical projects and produce reports.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the National Electricity Market and regulatory frameworks.
