Job summary

Ampstek is seeking a Power BI Analyst to translate business requirements into effective dashboards and reports. You will design interactive visualizations, build data models, and implement data governance practices.

You will work with SQL databases, Power Query, DAX, and RLS to ensure accurate, timely insights and scalable solutions. Collaboration with stakeholders and ongoing performance optimization are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Proven experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.

Implement rowlevel security (RLS) and follow data governance and security standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand KPIs and present insights clearly.

Monitor report performance and optimize datasets and refresh schedules.

Support users by troubleshooting data issues and enhancing existing reports.

Document reports, data models, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related

field.

Proven experience working with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Strong knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M language).

Experience working with SQL and relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, etc.).

Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.
