Job summary

Calleo is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design and develop reporting data models from Dataverse and Data Lake, delivering high-quality Power BI analytics for a Federal Government client.

You will design the reporting data model, implement row-level security, set up workspaces, and ensure governance and self-serve capabilities for business users, while tuning performance and document the model for sustainment teams.

Qualifications

• Design and develop reporting data models from Dataverse and the Data Lake.
• Strong experience in Power BI, data modelling, Dataverse, Data Lake, DAX and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Build the five standard reports and the executive dashboards.
• Set up row-level security, workspaces and a governed semantic model the business can self-serve from.
• Tune performance and scheduled refresh.
• Document the model and train the business area and sustainment team.
• Strong DAX, Power Query and SQL.
• Reported from Dataverse, including through Azure Synapse Link or a data lake.
• Set up reporting so business users can build their own reports safely.

Job Overview

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join their team.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in designing and developing reporting data models, with the ability to integrate and transform data from Microsoft Dataverse and Data Lake environments to deliver high-quality Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with strong technical expertise in Power BI, data modelling, Dataverse, Data Lake, DAX and Power Query, with the ability to work effectively within a complex Federal Government environment.

• Design the reporting data model from Dataverse and the Data Lake.
