Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District is seeking a Power BI Analyst/Developer to deliver visually impactful dashboards and analytics that drive decision-making across the district. The role focuses on front-end development, translating requirements into engaging dashboards with emphasis on user experience and storytelling.

You will work within a small, collaborative BI team, interacting with stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting using Power BI.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent experience as a BI Developer.
• Strong skills in Power BI front-end development and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern Power BI dashboards for decision making.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports.
• Develop DAX measures and improve data visualisation for end users.

Join a small, highly collaborative BI team where you'll help create modern, visually impactful Power BI dashboards that drive better decision-making across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. This role is primarily focused on front-end Power BI development, translating business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and informative dashboards that users love to interact with. You'll work closely with stakeholders and team members to deliver exceptional reporting experiences using Power BI. While an understanding of data structures is beneficial, the role is primarily focused on dashboard design, visual storytelling, user experience and developing effective DAX measures. Essential requirements:

• Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in the disciplines of Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics and/or equivalent work experience as a Business Intelligence Developer in a large diverse service industry organisation
