Job summary

Power and Water Corporation in Darwin is seeking a Manager for Asset Quality and Standards to lead the Power Services Asset Quality and Standards team. You will shape standards for transmission, distribution and remote power stations, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance while driving innovation.

You will provide senior leadership, govern asset lifecycle assurance, and deliver value through risk-based solutions across diverse networks throughout the Territory.

Qualifications

• Mandatory 3 or 4 year Science or Engineering degree recognised in Australia.
• Knowledge of industry standards and technology used in power systems (transmission/distribution).
• Experience developing governance and assurance frameworks for technical assurance.
• Strong financial and people management skills.
• Advanced Excel/macros or similar data tools.
• Experience applying Safety-In-Design principles and engineering change control.
• Experience analysing asset failures, condition and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asset Quality and Standards team within Asset Management.
• Develop and maintain asset quality standards for transmission, distribution and remote power stations.
• Provide people and technical leadership to deliver safe, reliable and compliant networks.
• Drive innovation and continual improvement of standards and solutions for power systems.
