Job summary

University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow (Data) to provide advanced statistical expertise for neuroepidemiology and cognitive ageing research within CHeBA. The role collaborates with international researchers, undertakes data prep, harmonisation and complex analyses across diverse datasets.

The successful candidate will contribute to study design, scholarly publications and grant activity, with supervision from the Associate Professor.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biostatistics, Data Science, Psychology or related field.
• Proven experience in epidemiology or health research datasets.
• Strong statistics and scientific writing experience.
• Commitment to staying up to date with disciplinary developments.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex statistical analyses and data preparation for epidemiological research.
• Harmonise data across longitudinal studies and international consortia.
• Contribute to study design, publications, conference presentations and grant applications.
• Advance statistical methodologies within CHeBA.
