Job summary

Western Sydney University seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to design and deliver glasshouse and field-based trials for drought-resilient groundcover across grassy woodlands. You will analyse ecological data, communicate findings through publications and stakeholder reports, and support supervision of HDR students.

The role contributes to the project on Drought Resilient Innovation, with flexible working arrangements at Hawkesbury Campus and a 3-year fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of plant and soil ecology in grassy woodlands.
• Experience designing, implementing and managing glasshouse or field-based restoration trials.
• Ability to publish research and deliver outcomes with multiple collaborators.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
