Job summary

Rocky Bay in Perth is seeking experienced Core and Proficient Practitioners to join the Positive Behaviour Support Team. You will work in an interdisciplinary setting, applying PBS principles to support people with behaviours of concern and lead training within the team.

You will contribute to assessments, reflective practice, and integrated support planning while engaging families and service providers in person-centred, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist level.
• Qualification in Psychology, Social Work or allied health with current registration.
• Experience supervising core behaviour support practitioners within the NDIS framework.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours using person-centred and trauma-informed approaches.
• Understanding PBS principles and evidence-based practice across home and community.
• Ability to develop and deliver training, coaching and capacity-building for staff and families.
• Confidence in stakeholder engagement and collaborative relationships to understand participant needs.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams contributing to assessments and integrated support planning.

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Core and Proficient Practitioners to join our Positive Behaviour Support Team. At Rocky Bay, we take an interdisciplinary approach to supporting people with behaviours of concern, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated professionals to further develop their clinical expertise and leadership skills in Positive Behaviour Support.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist level
• A relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or another Allied Health / Community Services discipline, with current professional registration or membership (as required)
• Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring core behaviour support practitioners within the NDIS framework
• Strong experience supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours, using person-centred and trauma-informed approaches
• Deep understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and evidence-based practice across home and community environments
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training, coaching, and capacity-building for non-clinical staff, service providers, and families
• Confidence in stakeholder engagement, building collaborative relationships to understand participant needs and drivers of behaviour
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to assessments, reflective practice, and integrated support planning
