Join National 360 as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and create meaningful change every day. Based in Warrnambool, you’ll deliver person-centred, evidence-based support that makes a genuine difference in the lives of NDIS participants.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for NDIS participants and their support networks through tailored, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing and developing strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines by reviewing and actively reducing restrictive practices.
  • Conducting comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs.
  • Designing and implementing person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change.
  • Providing education and training to carers and support teams to build capacity and confidence.
  • Collecting and analysing data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.

ABOUT YOU

We believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured, not just found through an exhaustive list of requirements. With that being said, there are a few requirements for our PBS practitioners, which are:

  • You are endorsed as ‘Proficient’ or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
  • You have full Australian working rights.
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver’s licence.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
