Job summary

Guardian Fire Control is seeking an experienced Fire Service Technician for a full-time role in Queensland. You will perform six-monthly and annual inspections and testing of fire safety equipment at client premises, including extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, and exit and emergency lighting.

The role requires QBCC licences and a current driver licence, plus the ability to work independently. You will join a friendly, supportive team with a maintained company vehicle, uniform and mobile phone.

Qualifications

• Current QBCC licences for Portable Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Exit Lighting, Hose Reels and Hydrants.
• Blue Card or the ability to obtain one.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Carry out six-monthly and annual inspections and testing of fire safety equipment at client premises.
• Inspect extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants and exit/emergency lighting.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
