Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires degree in mechanical engineering with Engineers Australia accreditation.
• About one year of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical drive systems and basic hoisting systems.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Valid driver’s licence and any required high-risk licences.
• Ability to obtain RPEQ within five to seven years.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical projects, equipment upgrades and replacements.
• Assist preventative maintenance, servicing and downtime coordination.
• Develop maintenance procedures and safe work instructions.
• Prepare monthly engineering and inventory reports.
• Support maintenance planning, work orders and system improvements.
• Coordinate contractors — inductions, permits and site compliance.
• Assist with purchasing, goods receipting and stock control.
• Support regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
