Job summary

Bayside Council’s Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre is seeking a proactive Pool Lifeguard Attendant to ensure patron safety and smooth operation of all aquatic areas. You will monitor activities, respond to incidents, provide first aid, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy public venue.

We value flexible, supportive teamwork and a strong commitment to child safety. Applicants must hold NSW lifeguard qualifications (RLS preferred), a Senior First Aid/CPR certificate and a NSW Working with

Qualifications

• Current Pool Lifeguard Qualifications recognised in NSW (preferably RLS).
• Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check (NSW).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive supervision of all aquatic areas to ensure patron safety and efficient operations.
• Provide a high level of customer service to ensure patrons comply with the Centre's conditions of use and entry requirements.
• Promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through ethical, professional behaviour.
• Work with the team, Manager and stakeholders to achieve business unit goals and Council priorities.
• Address or report safety issues to prevent injury or harm and monitor facility use by public and groups.
