Job summary

Department of Health in Tasmania seeks a Policy and Project Officer to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and initiatives, with a focus on family violence prevention and community services reform.

You will undertake complex research, provide high-level advice to senior stakeholders, manage key projects and funding initiatives, and build strong partnerships across government and community sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in public policy analysis, development and implementation.
• Strong project management skills and ability to deliver complex initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, briefs, reports and correspondence.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management across sectors.
• Analytical and strategic thinking to identify issues and craft policy responses.
