Job summary

Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC in Melbourne seeks a Policy Officer, Networks Policy, to support policy advice and delivery of energy projects within the Energy Group.

You will contribute to policy development for electricity distribution networks, including reform of regulatory frameworks in Victoria, and support projects on electrification and network adaption, regulatory reviews, and major infra changes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in engineering, energy, science, law, economics, public policy, or similar is desirable.
• Experience with Government processes and operations in policy development and reform is desirable.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification/s in engineering, energy, science, law, economics, public policy, or similar is desirable.
• Experience with Government processes and operations in policy development and reform, is desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 3 years. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
