Job location

Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city. Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.

About the Role:

To efficiently manage the electronic data base repository of Forensicare documents (Prompt) and to assist with document creation and review processes.

Duties:

  • Manage the electronic policy and procedure system – Prompt, including uploading and downloading of documents as required.
  • Monitor the status of documents, including supporting and following up with Executive Sponsors and nominated reviewers, as required, to assist with ensuring that documents remain in date.
  • Assist nominated reviewers with the document writing process, including meeting with reviewers and/or subject matter experts and providing advice on structure of documents.
  • Assist with formatting, grammar and flow of documents.
  • Provide training to document reviewers using Forensicare templates and writing guides according to the Forensicare Document Writing procedure.
  • Provide support throughout the document creation/review process as needed.

  • has technical competence in managing electronic data bases
  • demonstrates ability to write in a clear and concise manner, using plain English to produce documents which are easily understood by the intended audience
  • demonstrates high level communication skills
  • is highly organised and can work effectively to deadlines

  • has the ability to prioritise tasks based on their importance and/or urgency
