This is a newly created role in a new team, offering the opportunity to make a real contribution to one of the most significant safety and security projects ever undertaken by the Department of Health.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Policy and Support Officer to join the newly established Safety and Security function within the Office of the Chief Risk Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team driving a major security reform project that will transform how safety and security are delivered across the Department of Health.
Reporting to the Principal Policy Officer – Safety and Security, you will contribute to the development of policies, provide project support, and help deliver initiatives under the 10-Point Plan. You will also provide high-level administrative and coordination support across a wide range of project and policy activities.

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

$81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
