The role focuses on Closing the Gap commitments and the Victorian Aboriginal Affairs Framework, contributing to strategic policy reform

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Victorian First Peoples cultures and Traditional Owner groups.
• Knowledge of native title, land rights, or planning policy in Victoria.
• Experience contributing to policy research, analysis, briefings or projects in government, community, or comparable setting.
• Relevant tertiary qualification would be well regarded.

• Undertake research and policy analysis.
• Prepare draft briefings, correspondence, submissions, and supporting materials.
• Contribute to the development and review of policy options.
• Apply knowledge of policy concepts to defined tasks and contribute to their application under guidance.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Traditional Owners.
• Coordinate assigned project tasks and monitor progress against timeframes.
