Job summary

St Francis Catholic College Melton is seeking a passionate Library Manager to lead the Cobblebank Campus library from January 2027. This full-time, POL 2 role offers the opportunity to foster a vibrant reading culture, oversee programs, and support teaching and learning with print and digital resources.

You will work with students, staff and families, build capacity in others, and contribute to a Catholic education ethos across multiple campuses.

POL 2 Library Manager - Cobblebank Campus 2027

St Francis Catholic College is seeking a passionate and innovative Library Manager to lead the Library at our Cobblebank Campus. This leadership role offers the opportunity to foster a vibrant reading culture, enhance literacy and research skills, manage engaging library programs, and support teaching and learning through high-quality print and digital resources. Join our team and help create a welcoming, inclusive space where students can explore, discover and thrive.

Commencing January 2027, this is a full-time, POL 2 position.

The successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
• A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College
• Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes
• An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• An eagerness to learn.

Special Requirements

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
