Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a podiatrist to deliver in-home care to older Australians and NDIS participants, providing comprehensive assessments and treatment in a community setting.

We offer onboarding, flexible part-time options, mentorship and opportunities for leadership and professional development, with a supportive team of nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA Registration.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Passion for working in aged care and disability sectors.
• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and ability to build trust.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply with onboarding support.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive lower limb assessments and vascular/neurological screenings.
• Managing chronic conditions, diabetic foot care, and high-risk feet.
• Providing general treatment, skin/nail management, and pressure care education.
• Collaborating with Nurses, Physios, OTs, and Care Managers to deliver holistic care.

The Role

These newly created positions give you the freedom to step out into the community, providing meaningful care to older Australians and NDIS participants directly in their homes.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Conducting comprehensive lower limb assessments and vascular/neurological screenings.
• Managing chronic conditions, diabetic foot care, and high-risk feet.
• Providing general treatment, skin/nail management, and pressure care education.
• Collaborating with our expanding multidisciplinary team of Nurses, Physios, OTs, and Care Managers to deliver holistic care.

What We Are Looking For

• A tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA Registration.
• Current Australian Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• A genuine passion for working within the aged care and disability sectors.
• Strong interpersonal skills—the ability to listen deeply, show empathy, and build trust with vulnerable clients.
